Frequently asked questions... |
 |
Q: “How private is the accommodation?
A: You will find La Pinede to have very good security, with electrically operated gates and fencing surrounding our two acres of wooded parkland, and the car parking area. The pool is not overlooked.
Q: “Are children under 16 welcome?”
A: Older children are welcome to come on holiday here if the whole villa is booked. Please note that the pool has an electrically operated cover which is in place when the pool is not in use so providing peace of mind for anxious parents with children. Due to the high quality of furnishings, art and sculpture, children must be fully supervised on the first floor at all times. With the nature of the grounds and valuable works of art on show, the villa does not lend itself to very young children.
Q: Will my vacation in Provence be without children?”
A The hotel guest house will be adult only during your holiday with us at the villa itself. You will not have children under 16 staying here at the same time as you. If you come in July, August- outside the grounds and during our tours, there is likely to be a lot of children. We suggest you try and avoid the busy months of July and August if you want to relax fully on your holiday in Provence!
Q: “Do you cater for vegetarians or other special diets?”
A: We will ensure there is always a vegetarian meal available for those who have requested this in advance. There will be a choice of a meat or fish dish every evening, and if there are any preferences or allergies we can accommodate these as long as we are advised beforehand.
Q: “How much will the activities and excursions cost?”
A: This depends upon numbers and the particular tour/activity requested, e.g. a Half Day Wine Tour for four guests would cost around 25 € each, and a Full Day, perhaps to a Camargue Beach, would cost 45€ including a picnic lunch.
