Villa La Pinede—A House in the Woods—Maussane Les Alpilles, Provence.

Villa La Pinede is set in two acres of private wooded hillside- perfect for a peaceful rest or quiet read in the shade. From the extensive balconies and terraces you can appreciate the quiet Provencal countryside, yet you are only a few minutes walk from Maussane centre with its wide choice of shops, restaurants and open air cafes set around the old church in the village square.

Your en-suite bedroom will have its own terrace overlooking our 14x5 metre heated pool with Californian sloping beach entry—so no awkward steps or ladders to negotiate. The purification system is chemical free so no runny irritated eyes! The pool has an automatic cover to ensure safety when not in use and retain heat. From April to November the pool is heated to a minimum of 25° C but reaching 30° C even as early as May- the usual temperature achieved every day in July and August.

At Villa La Pinède we try to be as environmentally-friendly as possible with solar-heating for the hot-water and energy-efficient reverse heat pumps to heat the pool in summer and the guest-living area in winter. We recycle as much as possible and minimise our energy consumption and effect on the environment.
